DOUBLE STANDARDS IS A SIGN OF INEQUALITY, AND WOMEN AREN'T HELP THE SITUATION BY REFERING TO EACH OTHER AS BITCHES AND HOES. WE ARE WOMEN AND NOTHING LESS. AT THE END OF THE DAY, ALL WE HAVE IS OUR RESPECT AND DIGNITY. BE LITTLING OURSELVES AND EACH OTHER, IS THE REASON WOMEN HAVE TO WORK 10 TIMES HARDER THAN MEN.

DID YOU KNOW MOST WOMEN ARE PAID LESS THAN MEN AT THE SAME JOB?

DID YOU KNOW ITS MORE LIKELY FOR A MAN TO BE PROMOTED OVER A WOMAN, WHO IS MORE QUALIFIED?

DID YOU KNOW IT'S MORE LIKELY FOR A WOMAN TO HAVE A HARSHER PUNISHMENT THAN A MAN EVEN THOUGH THEY COMMIT THE SAME CRIME?

WOMEN ALLOW THIS INEQUALITY AND INJUSTICE. A WOMAN'S WORST ENEMY IS ANOTHER WOMAN AND NOT BECAUSE SHE'LL STILL YOUR MAN. BUT BECAUSE SHE'LL FOLLOW A MAN BEFORE SHE FOLLOWS ANOTHER WOMAN. WE ALL KNOW THE CATTINESS THAT COMES WHEN WOMEN WORK TOGETHER. WE'VE HARD IT TIME AND TIME AGAIN, NAME CALLINGS, GOSSIP, AND SPITFULNESS. I NOTICE A WOMAN WILL CALL ANOTHER WOMAN BITCH, SLUT, WHORE, AND HOMEWRECKER BEFORE A MAN.

WOMEN NEED TO:

STAND TOGETHER.

WORK TOGETHER.

FIGHT TOGETHER.

RESPECT THEMSELVES.

DEMAND EQUALITY,JUSTICE, AND RESPECT.

If you want our school systems to improve, VOTE!
If you want a safer community, VOTE!
If you want more job options/opportunity, VOTE!
If you want equality, VOTE!
If you want justice, VOTE!

I can't stress VOTING enough.There's too much going wrong with our government but not a lot of people VOTING. Yes, there was a record breaking turn out for the 2008 Presidential Election, but a less than a quarter of those people VOTED FOR MAJOR, SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT, COMISSIONER, GOVERNOR, JUDGES, SENATORS, HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AND MANY OTHER IMPORTANT LEADERSHIP POSITIONS. THESE POSITIONS AFFECT OUR DAY TO DAY LIFE AND ASSIST OUR PRESIDENT.

THE REASON FOR OUR GOVERNMENT PROBLEMS is THERE ARE TO MANY BAD APPLES FROM THE BOTTOM TO THE TOP OF THE GOVERNMENT FOOD CHAIN. THESE BAD POLITICIANS ARE ABLE SNEAK THEIR WAY INTO THE SYSTEM BECAUSE MOST CITIZEN ONLY CARE ABOUT WHO THE is PRESIDENT. THE PRESIDENT HAS VERY LITTLE TO DO WITH SCHOOL SYSTEM, POLICE DEPARTMENT, STATE TAXES, COMMUNITY FUNDING, EMPLOYMENT AND OTHER NON FEDERAL ISSUES.

WE NEED TO RECONSTRUCT OUR GOVERNMENT BY VOTING OUT THE BAD APPLES AND VOTING IN SUPERB POLITICIANS.

LET MICHAEL REST IN PEACE!!!

We love Michael Jackson, but damn, he's everywhere. All the newspapers, magazines, news, entertainment tv, and blogs are talking about Michael Jackson. People are coming out the wood-work with allegations. $$$$$$ and TV time that's all these people want and the media is giving them what they want, and the Jackson Family is not helping situation by talking to the media. It's crazy they wouldn't say anything when he was alive. Now, they're telling it all. Yes, he's died but his children are alive, and his children don't need to see their father in a negative light.

SPOTLIGHT: NEW BOYZ

YOU'RE A JERK has been banging out of the west coast speakers for awhile, but recently hit the mainstream with the support of the internet and 106& Park. Ben J and Legacy, New Boyz ,have the whole world jerkin'. Their youthful, fun, and uniqueness has everyone feeling their swagg. They've taken their hit song to another level with a hot performance during BET Awards live pre-show. Now, I hear "You're A Jerk" and see people jerkin' everywhere.

APOLOGIES: DRAKE & TOYA

In a previous post, I stated that Lil' Wayne's performance at the BET Awards was inappropriate. Well, rapper Drake ( who also performed with Lil' Wayne)and Toya (mother of Lil' Wayne's daughter) released public apologies for the performance.

Part of Toya's Statement: "I Antonia ” Toya” Carter have been disturbed but silent about the recent performance that took place at the BET awards, which including my only child Reginae Carter and her friends joining her father Lil Wayne on stage while he performed his new single “Every Girl”...Once again, I do not of any degree think it was a wise decision and I truly do apologize to all that this may offended and most importantly the children that watched this performance. I feel we all have learned a lot from this situation and pray that the viewers will allow these children to move forward with their lives and not held accountable because they are innocent."

Toya, Reginae, and Lil' Wayne

Drake offered his apologies through an interview with www.complex.com. "Yeah, it was just timed very poorly and it definitely wasn’t planned like that, but with that being said, it is what is. I believe in Wayne and myself and it’s nothing we can’t bounce back from. To anyone who was offended, my personal apologies, it wasn’t intended to offend anybody.
